Steve is a frequent speaker to public and professional groups on business and estate planning topics.
Steve is a member of the American Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association and the Grand Rapids Bar Association; Co-founder of the FFI—Grand Study Group (advisors studying the concerns and dynamics of family-owned businesses); Family Firm Institute; Active member of Our Lady of Consolation Church, Rockford; Cannon Township Zoning Board of Appeals; and a former director of the West Michigan Estate Planning Council.
Steve lives in the Rockford area with his wife and they have three adult children.
